Are there security cameras in dressing rooms at Hollister??
I was trying a skirt on at the local Hollister Co. and my friend outside said that someone could be watching me right then with video security cameras. I was so freaked. Is that true?
No, there are no cameras in the fitting room where customers try clothes on. There is a camera that moniters the entrance into the fitting room area, just before you walk into that section. It’s against the law and highly unethical to place security cameras in fitting rooms, even if it is for loss prevention. That’s why stores have employees working the fitting rooms and checking, counting everything you bring into the room and everything you bring out.
