By successful I mean no broken bones and preferably without dying.

Jumping is easy; surviving the landing is harder. The best bet is to have a deep swimming pool (unoccupied) to land in. An old style firemen’s trampoline would also work.

The British attached enormous importance to its capture of North America from the French, all this being explained in the fuller context of The Seven Years War. The final battle on The Plains of Abraham is chronicled by a detailed analysis of Wolfe's genius and the reasons for his military success. The conflict was however far from over. At the battle of St Foy in 1760, the French beat the British and laid siege to Quebec once again. They failed however and the intervention of The Royal Navy in May then proved decisive as the British were finally able to force the French Army back to Montreal and capture the city. But Britain's relations with her new North American colonial subjects quickly turned sour, leading directly to the outbreak of war between Britain and her American subjects. The final siege of Quebec was by the Americans in 1776. It failed and the future of Canada as a separate political entity was assured. This is a thrilling tale told with consummate skill and real narrative pace.

The Story of Three Loves – Fullscreen $24.99 This anthology film tells three stories of love involving the passengers of an ocean liner at sea. In the first, “The Jealous Lover,” James Mason plays Charles Coudray, a well-known ballet director. When someone asks Coudray why he staged his masterpiece, “Astarte,” only once, he tells the story of Paula Woodward (Moira Shearer), a superb dancer he found practicing in his theater. In the final segment, “Equilibrium,” Kirk Douglas plays Pierre Narval, a high-wire artist who retired from performing after his partner died while performing a trapeze act, an accident Pierre blames on himself. He begins to reconsider his decision when he saves the life of Nina (Pier Angeli), a woman who attempted to drown herself; her husband died in a Nazi concentration camp during World War II, and she feels she is to blame for his death.
