How do I know what series/make my laptop is?
My power cord has a short in it, and so my computer is dying all the time now. My computer is a Toshiba Satellite, but I have no idea what make or series it is. Apparently I need to know what it is to find out if the cord will work for my computer….
Where do I look to find that out?
It says Toshiba Satellite L35 – S1054. None of the models in the Ebay ad’s list say that… at least none that I could find.
Wow, I just found out that my laptop is 4 years old, borderline antique!! LOL
It is usually located on your computer usually in the back (For desktops) or on the bottom (for laptops). It should be pretty easy to find. But if anything you can always just go to my computer by (in XP) Pressing start, Right Clicking My Computer, press properties and it should say your model information there.(in Vista) Pressing start, Right Clicking “Computer”, pressing properties and it should say your model information there.
