Spy Color
What animals would you associate with these traits/seasons/colours? (for my novel’s caste system)?
In my novel there is a village of archers who are organised according to a caste system based on the seasons, like so:
>> Spring = Scouts/Hunters = colour: green
>> Summer = Soldiers = colour: red
>> Autumn = Leaders = colour: tawny (orange-brown)
>> Winter = Assassins/Spies = colour: white/grey
I also need an animal to associate with each of them. I was thinking something like this:
>> Scouts — Wolves
>> Leaders — Owls
Can you suggest any animals that would be appropriate for them? For soldiers, I need some sort of aggressive animal, and for assassins something suitably menacing and sneaky.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
Here’s some ideas:
Spring: Hawk/Falcons/Snake
Summer: Racoon/Lynx/Wolverine/Coyote/Badger
Autumn: Owl or Red Orange/Gray Fox
Winter: Snow Fox or Wolves (I think they would better fit this category)
Here’s how I would do it:
Spring: Snake
Summer: Owl
Autumn: Fox
Winter: Wolf
Feel free to switch these around, I hope they at least give you ideas! (:
