Alarm system has skylight sensors – home is 15 yrs old?

One of the skylight sensors detached from the skylight, i tried putting double sided tape to secure the sensor again, but the sensor still does not re-engage the sensor. Question is, what is the correct way to reattach the skylight alarm sensor?

just make sure the contacts are lined up before u cement them. good luck
