Outdoor Motion Sensor
can 2 gfi share the same ground on 2 circuits?
Im running 2 seperat circuits.
1 circuit is going to power my out door outlets only. 1 set of black & white for this. this will be protected by a gfi.
The other circuit is going to power my outdoor motion sensor lights and branch off to power my storage shed that is 3 feet away from my house. Another set of black and white for this. This will also be protected by a gfi.
Now, I know nuetral cannot be shared for this. I’m not sure if 1 ground can be used on the whole thing. Or do I need to treat it just like nuetral and run 1 ground for for each.
I’m running this from the main panel which ground and nuetral are on the same bus. This is what is throwing me off.
Yes you can share the ground. You are correct in if it is two separate circuits you cant share the neutral.
