How do you keep your cat from setting off motion sensor alarms at night?

I want to get a cat. My alarm does not have the option to accommodate pets or to turn the motion sensor off.I cannot put her in another room.How do you guys stop this or does she just stay near her food and water and sleeping couch? thank you
Its an alarm inside.Its basically lasers all over the room and if anything moves it goes off…. quite annoying :L What about leaving her under the stairs(its not a closet just open space) would that be good?

If you want to be owned by a feline you will have to try another type of alarm. Laser beams will always be tripped by cats. You cannot confine a cat it’s cruel. Cats jump so if you have motion sensors they would have to be set to where the cat doesn’t go. Some cats are quite athletic like the Burmese my mom had years ago and liked to jump from the counter to the top of the fridge to take a nap.
