How much does home security alarm system cost for my home?

For ex. ADT How much is the installation fee and monthly fee?

I am quite happy with ADT! They installed a basic system in my home for free. I had them put in a few upgrades like glass break sensors and smoke alarms at an added cost of about $300. I do not have a phone line so they put in a cellular up link so it works off my cell phone which was free but added $10 a month. I pay $52 a month for the service. A small price to pay for the secure feeling of having a really good alarm.

I live in a good neighborhood in Las Vegas NV and when I bought my house I had ADT scheduled to come out and put in an alarm system, but like an idiot I canceled. 3 weeks later my house was broken into while I was asleep upstairs. That was one of the worst moments in my life. I was amazed at how little noise it makes when a door gets kicked in. I almost did not get up, because I just thought someone dropped a plate down stairs. Do not be like me and wait until you have a break in to install an alarm. Do it now!
