Garden Frog
Can i save my garden frog?
Yesterday I found a frog in the garden which is really weird because the nearest pond I know of is in a park, 15mins drive away.
Although it’s cold at night now I was worried that it would dry out so i put a big fruit bowl of water near it.
I looked again today and he/she’s still here:S
I don’t know what to do shall i save it? Give it some slugs? Catch it and release it in the park pond?
I really don’t want it to die so any tips would be muchly appriciated:D

Thanks for the comments so far guys:D but just to add my garden is quite small and i have a dog so i don’t want to leave it there if it’s gonna get harmed or trapped in the garden but would i hurt it if i caught it and moved it to a pond?
Pick it up, put it in a plastic box, and take it back to the edge of the pond. It will need to hibernate in the mud at the bottom of the pond, and it sounds as if it will be safer than in a small garden with a dog and no pond. You will be quite safe to pick it up, the old superstition about frog giving you warts is nonsense, but they don’t like being handled any more than you can help because your hand will feel hot to the frog.
Why not instal a small water feature in your garden for thwe birds over the winter, doesn’t have to be big, then in Spring maybe the frog will return, with a few friends, and give you some spawn.
