Fire pits and chimenea help bring warmth to any outdoor setting. Today’s fire pits are constructed of the finest materials. Why buy a fire pit? Everyone associates outdoor fun with daytime activities. To get more use out of your yard in the daytime and at night, a fire pit allows you to enjoy the outdoors under the light of the moon and the stars. It is safer than trying to start your own outdoor fire. And finally, the addition of a fire pit becomes a home away from home, where you can enjoy leisurely activities right in your own backyard.

During the fall and winter months, when the air becomes crisp and cool, staying inside becomes the only option. You can enjoy an evening inside the house, by the fireplace, again! Or you can enjoy the outdoors by placing a fire pit in your outdoor living space. Who says you have to stay inside?
There are many things you can do around a fire pit. For starters, you can create a separate living space, outside of the house. It becomes the focal point of your outdoor living area when you add outdoor furniture, such as a couch or comfy chairs. Adding bean bags or large floor pillows instantly creates a comfortable, relaxing scene.

Another thing you can do around the fire pit is go camping, right in your own backyard! Take the family on an adventure without travelling far. You don’t have to lug around all of your outdoor camping gear and drive five hours to get away. If you’re looking for natural surroundings, look right at your backyard. Create the outdoors around the fire pit and bring on the adventure with the entire family. Set up tents, grab sleeping bags and blankets, and all of the goodies necessary for camping. Use the fire pit to roast marshmallows, make s’mores and round up the family and tell ghost stories. This is an easy option and it’s cheap too!

In addition, you can also entertain guests by having them relax around the fire pit. After dinner, move the guests out of the dining room and into your backyard, and end the evening with coffee, wine, or dessert while keeping warm around the fire pit. You and your guests will talk for hours one end as the fire glows in the moonlight. They will be so impressed by your hosting prowess that they will wonder when they will receive their next invitation for dinner at your house!

If you are not entertaining guests or creating an outdoor camping adventure, the use of the fire pit allows you to relax and throw all of your cares away. After a long day, cozy up with a good book, a blanket and a glass of wine and be mesmerized and hypnotized by the light of the fire pit. It is a great way to end the day.

Chimeneas are also fire pits and dates back thousands of years ago in Mexican culture. They were developed by Mexican tribesmen who used the chimeneas to provide heat for their family as well as a place to cook and bake. Chimeneas, too, also add another touch to your outdoor landscape that is both unique and functional due to its one of a kind design.
