Is it true that the plague of CCTVs has now spread to public toilets?

Apparently there were still some unfortunate gaps in the nationwide CCTV surveillance of us all, one of which was the public toilets. So I hear they are now being installed in these. Is this a step too far, even for surveillance britain? What’s next – permanently installed sigmoidoscopes inserted up the distal end of our alimentary tracts to monitor our digestion?

Not in the physical stalls itself. I understand if it’s in the bathrooms to monitor. Some people beat up others in the bathrooms, and I think cameras could do some help. But it’s still a issue of privacy. I would feel awkward in the urinal.
