CCTV DVR System – recording time?
My friend would like to install a CCTV DVR system in his business. He would like to keep the recording data for 1 month. If he opts for 16 channels with 24 hours non-stop recording, is it possible? Which storage capacity should he take? Is 750 Gmb enough?
How many days will the recording data kept for 750 Gmb? What is 2TB? How much is the prices’ differnece?
I would suggest 2TB for continuous recording on 16 channels. I have some 8 channel machines which require a 1TB drive due to the storage quality. I NEVER use 16 channel machines if I can help it. You need to spend a LOT of money for a top of range model, or the storage and replay quality falls
